Our business was built on Medical Education. From our origin in 1971 to today we have built an unequaled catalog of surgical technique films and healthcare marketing reels.
Perhaps our most important achievement was the worldwide broadcast of an open-heart surgery “The Operation,” a collaboration with PBS. VAS co-produced the first nationwide health survey on ABC’s 20/20. And our most recent critically acclaimed PBS documentary “In the Heart of China.”
With over 90 image inputs from 3 operating rooms, one cath lab, plus classrooms and boardrooms we can send an image via fiber, the web, satellite, or to broadcast standard tape formats. And our post-production facility is equipped with 3 non-linear Avid and Final Cut Pro edit suites, realtime encoding, several DVD authoring bays and multiple Powerpoint stations on both Mac and PC.
